SAIC is seeking a Program Manager to support the United States Air Force Pilot Training Next initiative in San Antonio, Texas. SAIC is seeking a business and thought leader with the passion to transform training through modeling & simulation, technology, and data innovation.
Provides key input and direction in planning, developing and implementing the program baseline. Identifies key resources to manage and execute to the program baseline. Identifies and analyzes moderate variances, and defines corrective actions. Responsible for a task or project when it is part of a larger program reporting to another PM; or responsible for overall execution as the sole PM managing and growing Category 3 program(s) with domestic funding.
Rarely reviewed for progress or completion in meeting program objectives and account synergy engagement. Primary customer interface for all program matters, information and insight sharing, and problem resolution.
PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT OF PROGRAM STAFF:
Possesses leadership and management skills that require very little feedback from supervisors. Provides strategic guidance to the team. Escalates and resolves moderate program issues. Provides input on performance reviews, compensation-related actions, and staffing and hiring recommendations. Assists in screening and interviewing potential hires. Resolves moderate personnel issues in coordination with HR and Program Oversight.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT:
Contributes to a strategic BD plan to protect current program and expand account offerings. Provides significant elements of recompete capture strategy. May serve as Capture Manager to expand current account offerings. Identifies potential buying agents for growth beyond current account. Identifies opportunity and account buying influences. Recommends opportunities for investment by leveraging repeatable and differentiated offerings and capabilities by implementing specific tools and resources.
