SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer for the Support Center for Surface Combat Systems (CSCS), Director of Functional Integration (N5) located at King George, VA. The selected candidate will perform high level engineering support on Aegis Combat systems requiring comprehensive knowledge and training on specialty systems.
Note: This is a temporary remote opportunity due to COVID-19. Occasional travel, approximately once a week, will be required during COVID-19 restrictions within this location. This position is located in King George, VA, so candidate must reside close enough to this location for the once a week commute during COVID-19, in which once restrictions are lifted, will be required to be onsite 100% of the time at this location.
Selected candidate will be an AEGIS Computer Network Technician (ACNT) with a strong background in Common Display System (CDS) Base Line 9 and above display systems, which includes:
BS Degree and 2+ years of experience within the AEGIS Weapons System (AWS); four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree).
