Job Description


SAIC is seeking a highly motivated and mission-driven targeter/analyst to support an important and exciting mission area with strategic and tactical relevance to national security.  The successful candidate will apply their analytic background to help the customer conduct targeting and analysis to respond to mission needs.  The candidate must be able to operate independently, being self-driven to meet the requirements of the position.  Excellent attention to detail, responsiveness to customers, and analytic curiosity are important. The successful candidate will deliver high quality products that accurately address requests.


Required Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret SCI with Poly
  • 6 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR 8 years of total relevant experience and HS/GED diploma
  • Experience specifying analysis requirements to support program objectives to include an understanding of technical environments
  • Experience identifying data sources to support analysis and querying those data sources to answer analysis questions using quantitative and qualitative approaches, and applying analytic judgment
  • Experience summarizing analysis into briefings and reports to document the methodology used and the results obtained
  • Experience maintaining an awareness of data sources and analysis methods as well as technical/analytic expertise relevant to the customer’s portfolio to offer new insights and respond to urgent requirements
  • Demonstrated experience as an analyst and/or technical targeter, researching technical information and providing products to end users to inform actions
  • Proven ability to analyze intel reporting and use that information, combined with knowledge of the telecommunications field, to conduct technical analysis in support of customer needs
  • Proactive approach to meeting needs and solving problems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to complete tasks in a timely manner
