Position Description:

• Generally recognized as a leader in the industry in their area of expertise; sought out by others in the area of expertise for advice and guidance

• Provide expert support, analysis, research, and advice into exceptionally complex problems, and processes relating to the subject matter

• Serve as technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation and alternatives. Expertise is in a particular area of Information Technology (e.g., Cybersecurity, Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communications and Network Systems Management).

• Perform highly specialized and technical tasks associated with the most current and cutting-edge technologies• May serve as a technical consultant to a project or a number projects dealing with area of technical expertise

• Coordinate with contract management and Government personnel to ensure the problems have been properly defined and the solutions satisfy customer needs

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors degree

Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph

• 15 years experience in managing transaction workflow and messaging middleware solutions, including queues, messaging middleware, and other types of connectivity software that control message queues or transaction flows

• 15 years experience planning, designing, building, testing, implementing, managing, and maintain transaction and messaging architectures and infrastructures;

• 15 years experience managing performance and capacity of transaction and message queues

• 15 years expertise in delivering quality of service (QoS) for messages and transactions such as queue managers and two/three phase commit solutions

• 15 years experience establishing and maintaining transaction and messaging standards such as queue names, queue properties, indicators for quality of service (QOS), naming services, message identification, and message type (request, reply, report on exception)

• 15 years experience establishing, maintaining, and communicating Application Programming Interface (API) standards for accessing transaction and messaging services

• 15 years experience in configuring and administering transaction and message queue managers, including the creation and deletion of queues, message routing, and dealing with different levels of message confirmation and acknowledgements designing and implementing IT

• 15 years experience designing and deploying platforms for the processing (extracting and carving), transport, storage, search, exploiting, and sharing of “big data” using physical computing resources (i.e. network, compute, storage) composed of clusters of commodity hardware to support “shared nothing architectures” (e.g. Hadoop)

• 15 years experience designing and deploying high performance computing (HPC)
