Description

SharePoint Developer

We are looking to hire a talented SharePoint Developer with data organization skills to create customized SharePoint solutions. You will be responsible for configuring and customizing SharePoint systems according to company specifications, building web applications, writing and modifying code, debugging software, and training.

To ensure success, you should have a working knowledge of SharePoint, proficiency with front-end programming languages, and the ability to solve complex issues.  Additionally, the ability to create and integrate professional data visualizations (charts, graphs, tables, reports) to combine data, perform calculations, and display data stored within SharePoint is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting with the design team to review website and application requirements.
  • Setting tasks and development goals.
  • Configuring company and client SharePoint systems to specified requirements.
  • Designing, coding, and implementing solutions.
  • Extending SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, workflows, and application technologies.
  • Testing and debugging code.
  • Reviewing website interface and software stability.
  • Troubleshooting software issues.
  • Maintaining and updating SharePoint applications.
  • Providing systems training to staff and customers.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT related field or similar and 4+ years of relevant experience. May consider an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree. Bachelor's is preferred. 
  • Must have at least 2+ years of SharePoint development experience 
  • Must have strong Development experience
  • Must have experience developing out of the box and custom solutions 
  • Having a SharePoint certification is preferred.
  • Proficient with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and jQuery.
  • Coding skills.
  • Ability to solve complex software issues.
  • Ability to project manage.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Desired:

  • Experience working for the Department of Defense
  • Master's or PhD (Doctorate) 

 

 

 


Target salary range: $95,001 - $105,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
