SAIC is looking for a Navy Systems Engineer that will be responsible for the installation of all required software (JMPS, JMPS-E and IAVA patches), test, and deliver the laptops to each Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG), Amphibious Squadron (PHIBRON), Tactical Air Squadron (TACRON), and Expeditionary Warfare Training Group (EWTG) (as required). This position is located in Norfolk, VA and some teleworking will be required.
Candidate will be able to provide classroom and shipboard training to ESGs, PHIBRONs, TACRONs and Marine Expeditionary Units (MEUs) as required during each ESGs workup cycle. Training will also be planned for and conducted at Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Atlantic (EWTGLANT) and other Navy/USMC training site as required. This will require developing and maintaining training materials for JMPS-E use.
