Description
SAIC is seeking a Senior System Safety Engineer to operate out of King George, VA and the surrounding area in support of the US Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division. This position is part of a team analyzing equipment to identify hazards, categorize risks, and recommend mitigations to reduce the probability/severity of a mishap resulting in injury to personnel, equipment damage, and/or damage to the environment. A Secret level DoD security clearance is required for this role, but an interim clearance will be acceptable to start. SAIC will assist with processing of the interim clearance, for an eligible candidate.
This is a partial Remote / Virtual / Work from Home position, but periodic (up to 2-3 days a week) work at NSWC Dahlgren and/or SAIC are required for this position.
