The candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of NAS experience, and be familiar with the FAA’s Acquisition Management System (AMS). The candidate should have:

• Assist in Joint Resources Council (JRC) documentation preparation.
• Support briefing development.
• Record and distribute meeting minutes and tracking action item follow-up.
• Prepare for and participate in meetings, including weekly tactical and strategic meetings, internal program reviews, and sector reviews.
• Assist in schedule development and maintenance.
• Assist communications management, internally within the FAA and externally with stakeholder organizations and Government oversight organizations.
• Provide program plan development and maintenance assistance.
• Provide input to support Project and Program Management Best-Practices.
• Provide input to support preparation of status documentation, briefings, and schedules.
• Provide input for the development of Acquisition and Procurement Plans.
• Prepare program status reports
• Provide technical input for the development of Requests for Information or Market

Surveys.

• Provide technical input for the analysis and screening of FAA information requests, either from other FAA organizations or stakeholders.
• Assist in the development of the products required for investment analysis phases of

TAMR.

• Provide technical input for program planning documents such as screening information requests, agreements, or cost estimates.
• Provide technical input for the development of program plans and implementation strategies.
• Provide KSN support.

Responsibilities:

The selected person will work on the supporting those activities the FAA undertakes to successfully monitor, control and direct the life cycle activities associated with acquisition, deployment and in-service management of systems and services that result in the modernization, upgrade and maintenance of the National Airspace System.  In addition, the selected person must interface with various FAA stakeholders to ensure acceptance of developed documentation.

Travel:

The selected person will be required to work closely with personnel located at the FAA Headquarter. Other travel may be required.

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and five (5) years or more of related experience
