Description

SAIC is currently hiring for a Radar Signal Analyst in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing strategic radar signal data and developing detailed presentations of results for technical briefing to leadership.
  • Working on-site at S3I on a multi-contractor team and interacting regularly with industry partners and the government customer. 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar degree field and three (3) years or more experience.
  • Proficiency with MATLAB or other analysis scripting language,
  • Familiarity with compiled software languages such as C/C++, and interest in a broad array of radar topics.
  • Familiarity with signal processing, probability and statistics, and basic software design principles.
  • Understanding of radar signal and data processing
  • MATLAB knowledge and experience
  • LINUX knowledge and experience
  • Ability to generate clear, concise, and intuitive presentation of results
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and reporting practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • Secret clearance or ability to obtain; Interim secret clearance will be acceptable to begin work and SAIC will assist with the processing of the interim clearance for the qualified candidate.  

Desired Qualifications:

  • PERL script knowledge and experience
  • Familiarity with X-band radars
  • Familiarity with the Missle Defence Agency (MDA) pre- and post-test analysis activities and procedures
  • Experience with root cause analysis of Strategic radar systems and interoperability
