SAIC is seeking an Operations Support Officer in Picatinny Arsenal NJ. The Operations Support Officer will support management of day to day operations ensuring adequate administrative support is provided to the Product Manager (PdM), and Deputy Product Manager (DPdM). Note: This position is temporarily a remote / virtual / work from home position due to COVID-19, but will ultimately be required be 100% onsite in Picatinny Arsenal, NJ once restrictions are lifted for this location.

 Primary Responsibilities:

• Apply knowledge of the Army Acquisition process and develop techniques to improve effectiveness and productivity in support of the overall mission. 
• Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to prepare and review draft briefings, information papers and Executive Summaries including the level of detail and layout appropriate for the intended audience. 
• Render advice and assistance to the PdM and higher level staff pertaining to assigned programs, objectives, problems, funding considerations, etc. 
• Provide support during briefings, VIP visits, program management reviews, and organizational off site meetings. 
• Develop and review draft recommendations for internal control procedures. 
• Manage internal databases, and maintain portfolio information on the PM MAS Dashboard.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; Four (4) additional years of related experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge and experience with the Army Acquisition process, including JCIDS and PPBE.
• Should also have experience running/ managing an Army program.
• Must currently have or be able to obtain a SECRET Security Clearance. May begin working with an interim clearance.
