Description
SAIC is seeking an experienced Software Development Project Manager to lead a critical program supporting the Department of Transportation. The selected candidate must have experience with (where applicable), Service Oriented Architecture, the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and SDLC Methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum), the National Information Exchange Model(NIEM) common vocabulary, the Rational Unified Process, the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3 approach as well as the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) for Development, Level III as the primary process improvement approach for software engineering , organizational development and the following technologies:
· Web application frameworks (e.g., J2EE), SQL development environments, WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat, Sybase, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 Databases;
· Client/server technologies (e.g. Thick-Client);
· VMware;
· Red Hat 5 and 6;
· Scalable Processor Architecture hardware; and
· Linux, UNIX, Windows 2003 / 2008 and Oracle Solaris 10 operating systems.
Selected candidate will work directly with the customer and prime contractor to develop objectives, work plans and manage development efforts.
Qualifications
PMP desired
Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
