JOB DESCRIPTION:

SAIC has a need for an Automated Software Test Developer to support the Apache PPSS Test Team located onsite at S3I/Redstone (Huntsville, AL).

Responsibilities include:

• The candidate will provide test-engineering support for military tactical equipment and software applications.
• The candidate will take requirements and decompose to test methods and test cases written in C.
• Develop automated test cases and test procedures to be used in verification activities.
• Develop and report out test results to the program.
• The candidate will work to streamline the test process/schedule to support program milestones.
• The candidate will work closely with the software development team to ensure the software meets requirements and supports the overall system
• The candidate should have a strong background supporting testing of military equipment and experience troubleshooting issues and problems with the software applications and equipment.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience

Clearance: Must have an active Secret Security Clearance

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• The candidate should be capable of preparing documentation and test reports associated with the integration and testing of the equipment.
• Experience with C software development is required.
• Prior Linux experience is required
• Embedded test experience is required
• The successful candidate will be a self-starter, capable of multi-tasking, and have initiative to attack and solve problems with minimum supervision.
• Avionics/Apache experience is a huge plus
