SAIC has an opportunity for a SCCM Systems Engineer to support the US Army Corps of Engineers Revolutionary IT Services (USACE RITS) program.
NOTE: This is a 100% virtual / work from home / remote position located anywhere in the CONUS.
The USACE RITS contract will provide modern and secure enterprise-wide IT support services to approximately 37,000 USACE customers located throughout the CONUS and OCONUS. Services will support the mission needs of USACE’s Headquarters (HQs) located in Washington, D.C., nine Divisions and 43 Districts, to include over 1,500 field and area project offices and two data centers that are currently located in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Hillsboro, Oregon.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Support usage of Dell Connected Config Toolkit (CCKT) APIs for bidirectional read/write of data from internal systems such as Active Directory and CMDB
- Coordinate with application owners of internal PC ordering platform, software management, endpoint security and software compliance to deliver hardened, login-ready PCs
- Develop capabilities to build user specific PCs to DoD and mission-specific standards
- Work in existing SCCM environment to develop SCCM OSD task sequencing
- Manage Windows 10 image deployment to new and refresh PCs through SCCM to support new features as required
- Assist in developing new automated processes and deployment lifecycle management
- Develop as-built and customer facing documentation in support of the project
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors and eight (8) years or more experience. Additional four (4) years experience in lieu of degree.
- 8 Years or more SCCM and Desktop Image management experience
- 8570 Computing Environment certification in relevant field
- Microsoft SCCM, Operating System Deployment (OSD)
- PXE and WDS
- Experience with Automating PC Builds
- In-depth knowledge of Windows 10 and PC applications
- Experience working in a DoD environment
- Experience with reviewing and updating systems for new STIG requirements
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Must have an active Interim Secret clearance at a minimum and be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT: Security+ CE Certification
Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
