JOB DESCRIPTION:
SAIC is currently looking to hire a Flight Test Electronics Engineer to support test and evaluation of the E-2 Hawkeye. A high op tempo team, working on innovative technologies to maintain air superiority in support of Air Warfare and Surface Warfare mission areas in California, MD.

Responsibilities Include:
- The NTWL VX-20 Integrated Mission & Avionics T&E Division E-2 Flight Test Team is seeking multiple FTEs (Flight Test Engineer) to test the NIFC (Navy Integrated Fire Control) capability.
The candidate will provide Engineering, Technical, and Project Management support for Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E) in the areas of Test Planning, Test conduct, Data Analysis, Test Reporting, Technical Documentation, Test Project Management, and Systems Engineering. - Planning, execution, data analysis, and reporting for testing of E-2D capabilities in support of mission effectiveness. Tasking may include similar support of capability-specific testing using Mission Based Test Design processes.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION & SKILLS:
Bachelors degree with 5 years of related experience; 4 years of experience can be used in lieu of a degree.
Clearance: Must have an Interim Secret Security Clearance to start with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI in the future
Required Skills:
Knowledge and experience with NTWL test and evaluation processes, interoperability, system of systems, mission systems integration, mission based testing, with strong communication and interpersonal skills is required.
Specific experience with testing of NIFC, data links, airborne radar, and/or data fusion is preferred.
Knowledge of phased array radars, radar theory and electronic warfare highly desired.
Knowledge of tactical data links, including Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) and/or Link-16 highly desired.
Knowledge of and test experience with E-2 systems and/or the Air Warfare and Surface Warfare mission area is highly desired.
