Job Description


SAIC is seeking an OMFV Simulation Experiment Analyst to support efforts at Fort Benning, GA. Selected candidate must be capable of developing methodologies and implementing comprehensive plans to collect and analyze data during computer-supported simulation experiments.  Candidate must be capable of developing measures of effectiveness, measures of merit, reducing data, analyzing data, and reporting the findings as they relate to experiment issues.  Experiments focus on the military utility of potential future Army capabilities and systems related to the Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle Concept (OMFV).  Candidate must be able to document insights and findings related to experimentation results in support of a final report. Primary responsibilities include developing data source matrixes, data collection plans and collection instruments, data reduction and analysis.



  • BS Degree and 4+ years of related experience (4 years equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree) 
  • Responsible for, or supporting the planning, resourcing, preparation and execution of each experiment. 
  • Works in conjunction with project officers to provide a final report addressing all experiment issues, develops databases that effectively archive all data captured.
  • Duties include attending planning meetings, training and managing data collectors, managing data, conducting analysis, and reporting the results of experimentation.
  • Analyzes actual and predictable interacting operational activities of a military, governmental, or business system to obtain a qualitative or quantitative, rational basis for decision-making, policies (e.g., Doctrine, Organization, Training, Leader Development, Material, Personnel, Facilities) or resource allocation in support of US Government policy goals and objectives.
  • Provides integral policy support in the capability development and integration of solutions and the conceptualization, design, development, testing, verification and validation, documentation, and implementation of modeling and simulation based decision support system applications.
  • The candidate will be required to coordinate with various agencies to ensure experiment objectives are synchronized with Army, Program Manager-Maneuver Combat Systems (PM MCS), and Maneuver Center of Excellence requirements.
  • Must be able to obtain a SECRET clearance.
