SAIC is looking for a Junior Proposal Writer. Position could be remote for the right candidate.

Position Description: The Junior Proposal Writer collaborates with SAIC experts and proposal team members to develop compliant, compelling proposals in response to Federal Government solicitations.
Description of Duties:
- Writes primarily resumes with some focus on past performance and narrative sections.
- Applies communication and interviewing skills to gather needed information from internal and external personnel to support writing activities.
- Researches and collaborates with SAIC professionals on the most effective way to present proposal information and substantiate any claims.
- Writes clear, persuasive, and articulate proposal sections; translates complex ideas into easily understandable text.
- Develops and implements process improvements and training to help improve proposal quality.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, History, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years of professional experience with Bachelor's Degree, 1 year with Master’s Degree.
- 1+ year of experience working as a proposal writer responding to Federal Government solicitations.
- Excellent writing skills
- Comfortable analyzing and extracting requirements from Federal Government RFPs.
- Ability to organize information throughout the proposal life cycle.
- Strong work ethic and desire to excel and keep growing over time.
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
Desired Experience/Skills/Attributes:
- Demonstrated success writing resume and past performance sections.
- TS/SCI, Top Secret, or Secret clearance.
Target salary range: $65,001 - $75,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
