SAIC is seeking a Network Engineer with experience in IPv4 to IPv6 transitions to join the team in Panama City. This role does have the potential to be worked remote. 

The qualified candidate will be a part of an agile RDT&E team, and will design, analyze, plan, networks and network components supporting data, voice and/or audio communication activities between concurrent IPv4/IPv6 networks on a LAN and NAT64 on WAN. 

The candidate must be able to work on a collaborative team with minimum instruction, utilizing Jira, and BitBucket and other collaboration tools. 

Duties include: 

• Providing specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture
• Providing information for hardware and software selection
• Recommending tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. 
• Conducts testing of network systems. 
• Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switchers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc..

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:
 

Associates Degree and (4) four years of related experience, or Bachelors Degree and (2) two years of related experience, or Masters Degree and (0) zero years of related experience. High School diploma and (6) six years of related experience accepted in lieu of degree. 

Candidate must posses knowledge and experience with IPv4/IPv6 networks on a LAN and NAT64 on WAN.
 

Required Clearance:
 

A US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.  A minimum of an Interim Secret will be required to begin work.
