Job Description


SAIC is seeking a Senior Multimedia Design Analyst. Daily roles and responsibilities are as followed.

  • Performs Instructional Design for the Defense Nuclear Weapons School (DNWS), developing learning content in support of DNWS courses.
  • Develops instructional and presentation content for DNWS students and staff.
  • Works closely with instructors and Information Technology (IT) staff to support the cross-functional delivery of in-residence and online learning.
  • Identifies new e-learning technologies and evaluates appropriateness for DNWS use.
  • Works with IT to develop Learning Content Management System (LCMS) infrastructure necessary to maintain a competitive online program.
  • Ensure DNWS compliance with security policies, accreditation standards, and copyright.
  • Oversees technology plans that increase the program's ability to enhance course design and strengthen content delivery.
  • Conducts comprehensive evaluation of all phases of training and achievement of desired outcomes.
  • Researches and implements plans to expand the methods of curriculum presentation in order to appeal to students with various learning styles.
  • Assist faculty in ensuring courses meet the high education standards of DNWS.
  • Conducts annual review of courses to ensure material is current and accurate.
  • Provides media support for content development.
  • Participates in design and execution of DNWS staff training courses.

This role is temporarily remote/work from home/virtual due to COVID-19.  Eventually the work will go back to 100% onsite at Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, NM, once the threat of COVID-19 has passed.


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of experience, Masters and four (4) years of experience.
  • Knowledge of instructional design practices with the ability to convey technical concepts.
  • Knowledge of digital media and e-learning design approaches to education and training.
  • Knowledge of current issues, trends, and best practices in education and training.
  • Ability to work with staff, students and outside agencies.
  • Knowledge of LCMS or Learning Management Systems.
  • Ability to effectively multiple projects in a collaborative, team-based environment.
  • Multimedia design experience.
