Description:  Works with limited supervision as part of a FAA systems program management team to support monitoring and development of contracts and contract modifications. Support the program management team with Joint Resources Council (JRC) activities related to new acquisition. Support the regular updating of the OMB Dashboard related to an FAA systems acquisition program.

Qualifications

MINIMUM TANGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to independently prepare and coordinate responses to correspondence from Prime Contractor based on direction from Functional Area Leads, COR and/or CO. Track incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Ability to maintain files for correspondence to include outgoing and incoming letters, deliverables, and responses/comment packages on deliverables. 
  • Ability to post data to multiple KSN sites for various items to include contract modifications, deliverables, correspondence.
  • Ability to provide access to Data/KSN sites.
  • Ability to communicate well both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely and with technical accuracy.
  • Ability to research and coordinate with FAA SMEs requirements for Statements of Work, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), Data Item Descriptions (DID) and requirement documents.
  • Ability to prepare acquisition documentation for FAA Programs, including SOWs, CDRLs, DIDs, briefings and reports and coordinate with the contracting officer.
  • Ability to organize, track, and ensure completion of artifacts required for JRC milestones.
  • Ability to successfully interact and provide technical and AMS guidance to senior level FAA managers and engineers.
  • Ability to work independently to complete complex technical tasks.
  • Ability to conduct cost/price analysis.
  • Experience reviewing Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs).
  • Expertise with MS Office Suite

Education and experience requirements: Bachelor’s Degree Required.  An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

10+ years of relevant business management experience

US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
