Job Description


SAIC is looking for a Data Entry Technician will be responsible for directly and independently supporting the administrative division with data entry for a variety of financial, travel, and resource tracking systems. This posiition focuses on delivering outstanding services in support of law enforcement and in supporting the United States Attorney’s Office. 


  • Enters data into a variety of USAO administrative computers systems (UFMS, E2, UAPM, webTA, etc)
  • Enters data in prescribed format for subsequent processing. Reviews error messages and makes corrective actions during data entry.
  • Enters, monitors, and tracks obligation and expenditures data for office support functions and litigation expenses and ensures expenses are properly entered into financial system.
  • Verifies entries occur on a timely basis in accordance with regulatory controls and within parameters provided.
  • Prepares and processes transactions related to payment, verifying support documentation and ensuring mathematical correctness.
  • Maintains an organized payment file system for obligation and payment documents and researches files when necessary.
  • Monitors payments to prevent duplicate payments


  • High school diploma or GED certificate ·
  • Must have experience operating a variety of office automation equipment and personal computers.
  • Must have ability to work independently and be detail oriented. ·One to two (1-2) years of general data entry experience to include experience operating an alphanumeric keyboard.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite 
  • Ability to use, understand and maintain directories, personnel lists and other guides and references to provide a variety of information on the office and to refer questions to other offices.
  • Skill in meeting and dealing with people in a courteous and tactful manner. ·
  • Must be able to function independently as well as work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Experience in a litigation support environment preferred
  • Familiarity with financial, travel, and resource tracking systems.
