SAIC is seeking a Program Analsyst to assist the US Navy at NSWC PCD. This position will sit in Panama City, Florida.

 This position provides support to NSWC PCD project management, subject matter experts, and internal SAIC team members with the definition and implementation of project planning methodologies. A program analyst at SAIC is responsible for supporting daily operations for naval customers by ensuring the creation and adherence to project processes and procedures. This role is required to sustain a working knowledge of naval systems in order to answer programmatic and technical questions. A successful candidate for this position will be able to work independently to analyze and propose solutions to project issues. 

Additional duties include:

• Working with SMEs and project managers to author project plans and other documentation
• Compiling multiple data points to develop management briefs
• Developing metrics to track the success of various tasks
• Analyzing resources to develop Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs) or Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs)
• Record action items and meeting minutes and accurately capture technical discussions

Qualifications

Qualifications:

 Required:

• Possess superior analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills
• Strong expertise with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 3+ years of related experience
• Ability to work both on individual projects and a part of a multidisciplinary  team
• Ability to obtain a secret security clearance

 Preferred:

• Familiarity with DoD lifecycle logistics
• Working knowledge of configuration management best practices and software such as CMPRO
• Experience with Microsoft Visio and Project
