SAIC is actively seeking a Material Processing Analyst with an active TS/SCI to work with a diverse team of analysts, linguists, cultural experts, and operations officers, focuses on creating and recognizing targeting opportunities and strategies in the cyber-realm.  The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a variety of internal and external partners to share information and leverage resources in furtherance of mission goals and objectives.   In addition, this position will provide support services to ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) procedural requirements, policies, and directives, which include database operations (POM), developing and presenting status reports, suspense date monitoring and enforcement, milestone reviews, and internal/external coordination across the Dept of Navy (DoN), DoD, and US Government (USG) agencies.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist in operational coordination and deconfliction within the DoN, DoD, and USG agencies.
  • Routinely respond and provide recommendations to questions, concepts, and proposals throughout the lifespan of an operation.
  • Maintain, operate, and provide training on systems such as OneNote and POM databases.
  • Ability to research various topics in open source sites and popular, legacy, and new social media, blogs, and mobile applications.
  • Ability to multitask and execute short timeline requests efficiently and accurately.
  • Address security requirements and procedures to properly handle and store/archive classified materials.
  • Coordinate records and comply with records management instructions, records retention/disposal guidance, and produce annual inspections of file plans and records.
  • Assist intelligence and analysis operations through simple and/or complex database searches.
  • Produce incident, threat, and information reports

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and two years of experience; or four+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience reviewing, understanding, and analyzing classified and unclassified DoD documents.
  • Working knowledge of POM databases and Microsoft Office (including OneNote).
  • Knowledge of security requirements for proper handling and storage of classified materials.
  • Ability to leverage established relationships with other DoD components and agencies.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite of Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and common office software applications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with proficient research and analytical skills.     
  • Knowledge of military operations, terminology, and structure
  • Ability to work well on a team and independently.
  • Ability to travel throughout the National Capitol Region (including Quantico)

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Formal coursework or instruction in OSINT techniques, technologies, tools, and trends.
  • Experience with Military or Law Enforcement Community Counterintelligence Investigations
  • Experience with HOTR, CIAWire, Harmony, NCTCOnline, TAC, Open Source Center, TIDE, etc.
  • Experience in the production and dissemination of Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs)
  • Former Military/Civilian Intelligence experience (35F, 35L, 35M, 14N, 1N0, 0210, 0211, or equivalent)

REQUIRED CLEARANCE

  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility (PR within 6 years)
  • Subject to a CI polygraph
