JOB DESCRIPTION:
SAIC has a immediate opening for a IT Asset Lab Manager to your our SAIL team located in Huntsville, AL (Redstone Arsenal).
The SAIL provides support for various Army communications requirements such as Communications, Navigation, and Surveillance, as well as Transport Telemedicine. The team also regularly prototypes experiments to customer specifications to be demonstrated at annual Network Integration Exercises (NIE) and Joint Warfighter Assessments (JWA). The ideal candidate will have experience with operation and integration of U.S. Army radios, both air and ground, particularly with Harris ground radios.
Responsibiltiies Include:
- Responsible for lab administrative documentation for all assets within the SAIL lab
- Coordinate STIGS on lab machines with the cyber/IT teams
- Keep lab assets organized and assesable to others within the lab
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience; 4 years of experience can be used in lieu of a degree.
Clearance: Must have an active Secret Security Clearance to start
Required Skills:
- Extensive organization skills
- Experience tracking lab assets, machine updates and planned maintenance processes
- Familiar with IT processes and procedures within a lab environment
- Ability to communicate with IT teams to accomplish
