Description
SAIC is hiring for a Software Engineer with C++ and Linux experience to support rapid software development and real-time critical application design. This individual will develop, update, and maintain software associated with modified Naval fire control systems. The position will interface with systems engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, suggest changes, code and develop documented solutions. Note: This is a Partial Remote / Virtual / Work from Home position, for a temporary basis during COVID-19. Occasional travel, approximately once a week, will be required during COVID-19 restrictions within this location. This position is located in Dahlgren, VA, so candidate must reside close enough to this location for the once a week commute during COVID-19, in which once restrictions are lifted, will be required to be onsite 100% of the time at this location.
