Description
SAIC has a contingent opportunity for a Modeling & Simulation Engineer to support an Army Combat Capabilities Development Command contract providing modeling and simualtion and software services. This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located in Sterling Heights, MI.
SAIC is pursuing a ground-breaking opportunity in support of the U.S. Army’s acceleration in development and fielding of new military ground manned and unmanned vehicle capabilities including autonomy and robotic applications. SAIC is looking for motivated, innovative, career and customer-oriented individuals to join our team in support of this military vehicle effort and provide modeling and simulation, systems design analysis with architecture concepts, systems, technologies, and capabilities that enable futuristic improvements for U.S. Army military vehicle capabilities. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness with the ability to apply and/or develop highly advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts in support of the Army’s mission.
Plans and executes modeling and simulation systems development projects. Possesses and applies knowledge about modeling and simulation methods for analysis of complex human-machine systems and training. Designs and develops simulation systems and modeling of simulation objects. Duties may include performing analysis applying appropriate scientific and engineering processes and modeling techniques to the life-cycle development of systems; performing analysis and trade-off studies related to operational issues, and reviewing test plans to ensure measures of effectiveness to address operational requirements using modeling and simulation tools and techniques; reviewing plans for system integration, operation, and maintenance and assisting in the development of training for operational personnel.
