Description

SAIC is seeking a Senior Program Analyst who is passionate about leading the daily operations and supporting strategic efforts of a United States Marine Corps (USMC) acquisition program to support efforts in a Remote setting. This person will work with our talented team of engineers, logisticians and program support personnel to design and build systems for the USMC that control/guide autonomous munitions launched from land and sea.  The systems under development utilize and integrate a precision fires munition as well as real-time targeting data from organic sensor systems.  These enable users to rapidly develop target solutions for use with weapon systems at the maneuver unit level. 

Work can be performed remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the operational and business aspects for the Long Range Unmanned Surface Vessel (LRUSV) project to achieve acquisition objectives.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of all requirements, spend plans and schedules at the program and project team levels.
  • Guide project team efforts, based on Program Office priorities, to ensure the project team effectively employs its resources.
  • Develop project execution plans that best leverage project team capabilities.
  • Support the complete integrated product team on engineering, logistics, testing, training and financial efforts.
  • Monitor and report performance against established plans to meet cost, schedule and performance objectives.

This job pays $120-130K based on experience and other factors. 

 

Qualifications

Education Requirements:  Bachelors degree and 15 years of experience, or 5 years of active military service plus 16 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.  

Required Skills:

  • Experience and extensive knowledge of all aspects of the Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition process.
  • Understanding of DoD financial management and budget planning.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environments.
  • Able to work independently and efficiently with short term deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel (50%).  Travel is primarily within the Continental United States with the potential for occasional overseas travel.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Project. 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with missile and munition weapon systems, to include but not limited to, missile/munition, launch platforms, command and control, sensor, and integrating networks. 
  • Must be able to obtain a SECRET clearance.

 


Target salary range: $125,001 - $135,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
