Job Description


SAIC is hiring an Engineering Technician II to serve on the Propulsion Test Facility contract at NUWC Division Newport.

The technician will provide electrical maintenance and calibration services to the Propulsion Test Facility.  This involves calibrations of various fluid, gas, pressure, temperature, and electrical sensors.  Electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and cable fabrication are typical responsibilities.  The technician will support multiple systems across multiple buildings in an industrial complex.  Attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously are necessary.


Education: Associates in electrical or electronics technician discipline. 

Desired: 3+ years experience as electrician or in an electrical technician role.

Clearance: US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
