SAIC is seeking a Fielding and Training Specialist - Black Hawk Aircrew Trainer to support efforts in Huntsville, AL. Candidates will need past expereince in US Training Development and Instructor practices and procedures in support of the UH60M/L BAT Program.
This position is in support of the BAT that has met all milestones and is fielding to US Army Aviation/ US Army National Guard units/ Other Government Agencies and potential Foreign Military Sales.
Duties include:
- Fielding, installation and testing at units
- Develop and maintain currency of MIL-STD Technical Manuals and Technical Bulletins, TRADOC standard Training Support Packages
- Classroom and hands-on training to Army Trainer Maintenance Personnel maintainers on the BAT
- Trainers are required to maintain a professional appearance and possess the mannerisms to interface with military leadership and other contractors
This position is estimated at 25-30% travel.
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- Associates degree and three years of related experience or HS/GED plus five (5) years of related experience.
Required Skills:
- Candidate must have experience in U.S. Military Instruction- Certified Army Instructor/ Course Writer or equivalent civilian experience.
- The position requires knowledge and understanding of maintenance principles and processes.
- Physical ability to lift and carry fifty (50) lbs.
- Experience in the use of common hand tools.
- Ability to read/ interpret wiring and signal flow schematics.
- Aviation simulation tech experience is desired.
Clearance Requirement:
- Candidate must possess a SECRET security clearance.
