Description
SAIC is looking for a Ground Systems Engineer to support a dynamic program in Chantilly, Virginia. This position requires an active TS/SCI with Poly.
This candidate will perform Systems Engineering activities related to space systems ground segment acquisitions and associated Operations & Maintenance (O&M). This includes: requirements definition, analysis and engineering, system analysis and design, interface and data architectures, validation and verification, systems integration, physical configuration analysis (PCA), installation and test activities, and system acquisition/evaluation. Provides primary support to the Systems Program Office (SPO) development branch involved in the procurement of ground segment systems. Systems will include command and control (C2) hardware, software, Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE), and networks.
Qualifications
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
