Description

SAIC has an immediate need for a Senior Program Analyst to provide on-site project management support to the Medusa program in Huntsville, Alabama.

Job Duties:

  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Manages project budgets, schedules,  and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  • Develops solutions for continued imporvements on policies, procedures and practices for guidance.
  • Creates customer messaging and communication strategy.
  • Organize data and craft time-sensitive reports obtained from open and closed sources.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

BS and six (6) years of experience; four (4) years’ experience accepted in lieu of degree.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Demonstrated ability to write and communicate technical concepts clearly, concisely, and presenting to various audiences.
  • Strong writing skills, including understanding of grammatical rules, punctuation, sentence structure, editing, and active/passive voice.
  • Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.  
  • Experience in serving in a trusted advisor, objective third-party capacity to federal clients, providing consulting services and thought leadership.
  • Experience with both functional and system requirements elicitation and use case documentation.
  • Ability to work independently, requiring little oversight/direction.
  • Ability to multi-task and demonstrate a high degree of organization in order to support multiple concurrent projects.

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance; US citizenship required
