Description
The Radiological and Nuclear (RN) Lead Physiicist is an integral member of the team supporting a combination of strategic planning, threat assessment, policy analysis and development, and product acquisition activities to accomplish the development and deployment of RN detection systems for the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Office.
General tasks and responsibilities include:
Qualifications
Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience in Nuclear Physics or Nuclear Engineering. A degree in Physics, Radiochemistry, or other closely related field may also be acceptable.
Clearance: Must have active clearance (SECRET) and be eligible for DHS Suitability.
