JOB DESCRIPTION:
SAIC currently has an opening for a NAVWAR Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities Include:
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree and 18+ years of experience or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work/military experience.
CLEARANCE: Must posses an active Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI ; prefer active TS/SCI.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
All candidates must have comprehensive knowledge and expertise of:
Strong experience in Space Control (preferably offensive space control) or Electronic Warfare operations (preferably NAVWAR). Cyber Operations a plus.
Implementing methods to model, simulate, and analyze navigation equipment performance in electronically challenged environments
Understanding of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) and/or Electromagnetic Support requirements to sense and understand the electromagnetic operating environment.
Development and/or refinement of CONOPS and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), Developmental/Operational Test and Evaluation (DT&E/OT&E), system AoAs.
Familiarity with Army military hierarchy, terms and acronyms.
Familiarity with joint space operations, organizational relationships, and policy a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with at least eight (8) years’ experience communicating with military, civil service, senior leaders and highly-technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
Systems and integrated technology development, Joint-service program synchronization, user operational assessments/rapid fielding initiatives, and PM acquisition strategy/transition coordination.
Expertise in technology assessments of emerging Science and Technology (S&T) and industry solutions relative to fulfilling system requirements, and support as required to ensure acceptance and relevance to technology improvements that meet identified and related capability gaps.
Familiar with development, coordination, and staffing of appropriate Capability Development Documents (CDDs), Capability Production Document (CPDs), or any other required Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS) documents, including the required supporting analysis and documentation.
Expertise in the development of system-related briefings and reports that include supporting graphics and other technical analyses as required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, preparing briefings and writing of technical papers.
