Description
SAIC is recruiting for a Senior Systems Engineer to work on Common Range Integrated Instrumentation (CRII) systems. This work is contingent on a current proposal and the work will be performed at Ridgecrest, CA.
The position will require the candidate to perform advanced systems engineering activities related to Navy advanced weapon systems and range data collection related to system performance. It requires specialized knowledge in the field of Time, Space and Position Information and other advanced Information Technology related to the instrumenation of range assets and systems under test for Developmental Testing and operational training.
This Engineering role requires support that is matrixed across multiple military ranges and test sites and provides: concept of operations formulation, requirements definition, analysis and engineering, system architecting, system analysis and design, interface and data architectures, validation and verification, systems integration, system op. performance analysis, Lifecycle cost analysis estimation, decision analysis and physical configuration analysis (PCA). It will also also require performing timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software or engineering specifications and will support detailed information for selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet present and future operational test and training requirements.
