Description

SAIC is seeking a Business Analyst to provide program management support our FAA customer. The successful candidate should possess the following attributes:

  • Detailed-oriented mindset and proficiency in researching and analyzing information;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team;
  • Possess a flexible personality, self-motivated and willingness to multi-task and take on increasing responsibilities within the organization;
  • Ability to independently establish and manage priorities for fulfilling work assigned.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Traffic Flow Management System Program Office in performing acquisition planning and management activities
  • Assist the Program Office with developing the independent government cost estimate (IGCE) to ensure all requirements are appropriately conveyed in the estimate.
  • Develop AMS lifecycle (20 year) cost estimate (to acquire the system and all support personnel to deploy the complex technology) and estimate of risk-adjusted benefits (to be realized by the FAA and external stakeholders).
  • Coordinate and work with the FAA’s independent assessment team to ensure timely delivery of Business Case data for the decision-making process.
  • Participate in program meetings to update the team on the progress of on-going work on weekly basis.

Travel: The selected person will be required to work closely with personnel located at the FAA Headquarters location. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

  •  Bachelor's Degree and at least 10 years of experience.
  • Prior FAA experience working with Investment Planning & Analysis Group and knowledge of Capital Investment process are a plus.
  • Familiarity with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS)
  • Prior experience developing AMS compliant business cases, including cost estimates and cost/benefit analyses
  • Ability to communicate well - clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy.
  • US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
