SAIC is seeking a FSR Engineering Technician deployed OCONUS in Bagram, Afghanistan as a SME in support of AFCENT Tactical Vehicle C4ISR.
Required Education and Experience:
Candidate must be able to complete the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying up to 50 pounds, unassisted, on a regular basis; as well as sitting, standing, stooping or squatting for extended periods of time. Must be able and willing to work inside of enclosed, confined areas of vehicles; must have skills at manipulating and handling objects and tools needed for installation of equipment.
Prior to start date, must be able to pass Deployment Processing Command (DPC) pre-deployment training which will include a physical medical examination. Must pass current CDC / WHO guidelines for not being high risk for COVID to include being under age 60, not on any heart medications, etc.
