SAIC is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven individual with a background in Information technology. This hands-on position will be responsible for partnering with other service providers and team members to ensure that appropriate IT solutions are delivered to meet the business needs of the customer.  Perform the daily activities of configuration and operation of systems which may be mainframe, mini, or client/server based. Perform the optimizing of system operation and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning. Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of experience or 5 years of related experience
• Windows server operating systems 2012-2019
• Experience with physical and virtual environments
• Windows server administration (upgrades, patching and security compliance requirements)
• Windows server troubleshooting experience (setup, account management, file service, network configuration, DNS)
• Experience with terminal servers
• Experience leading and implementing technical solutions
• Ability to quickly learn and understand applications
• An active DOE Q clearance or DOD TS clearance with reciprocity approval

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Backup and Disaster Recovery management
• Experience with application hosting
• Experience with PowerShell and scripting
• Experience with IIS
