Description
The Technical Project Manager will lead the team responsible for analysis, design, development, and deployment of customized and COTS software tools. The position will ensure compliance of developed applications meet the technical architecture and services framework. Moreover the individual will lead a team of software professionals to organize and execute software development tasks and ensure synchronization of software development activities across all development efforts.
Responsibilties:
- Manages multiple integrated, agile development teams and foster DevSecOps practices to ensure application integration in the enterprise.
- Responsible for User story and Task planning, estimation and assignments to team members.
- Strong technical background building and hands on development experience building Java/JEE based web applications.
- Responsible for technical design and delivery of the Project.
- Perform resource and capacity management in collaboration with PMO and customer prioritization.
- Provide guidance, direction, and coaching for team members to ensure high-quality delivery of technical solutions.
- Build strong relationships with client partners, business stakeholders, managing expectations, and communicating status on project deliverables and solutions.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture on technical approaches.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other IT related field with at least 9 years IT experience (4 years experiene in lieu of degree)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
- Previous managerial experience of an organization.
- Extensive knowledge of Application Development practices and architecture in an object oriented, service oriented frameworks.
- Proven track record of driving transformation of delivery through adoption of Agile and DevSecOps practices.
- Proven track record in managing and directing multiple development groups on multiple platforms (Java, .Net, Angular, SQL Server Tools, Cloud Computing).
- Articulate and professional.
Desired:
- Experience with Cloud Migration, Implementation, AWS Services, FedRAMP, System Integration capability.
- Experience with automation technologies like Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Selenium, Jenkins, Nexus, and Docker.
- Experience working with CI/CD tools for testing and deployment.
- PMI, AWS and Java certifications is a plus
