Job Description


SAIC is seeking a Program Analyst to join our team in Panama City, Florida. This position does have the ability to work remotely. 


  • Serves as the Project’s Customer Requirements Manager (project deliverables) – status track, archive, and support data calls.

  • Serves as the project’s Risk Manager and is responsible for tracking risk mitigation plans.

    • Performs risk assessments and supports mitigation planning.

    • Records risk items within Risk Exchange tool and produces briefs as requested.

  • Supports the PM in managing the day-to-day operations of the Project, ensuring staff understand and can follow processes and procedures, and supports answering staff programmatic and technical questions.

  • Gathers and archives metrics per each task area as identified in the Measurement and Analysis Plan.

  • Coordinates, supports, and provides input to the yearly Project Plans (e.g. Human Resource Plan, System Engineering Work Plan, and Configuration Data Management Plan).

  • Creates and maintains the Master Schedule in Microsoft Project, and the derived schedules for each task or for urgent tasking.

  • Review and report the financial status of all project tasks for weekly project status meetings. Status includes weekly burn rates so as to alert to funding needs.

  • Records and publishes meeting minutes for all project areas – with capture of the technical aspects discussed.

  • Provides action item and lessons learned management and tracking for all project program actions, both internal and external.



Required Education And Experience: Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and one year of related experience. Four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree. 

  • Knowledge of the complexities and requirements associated with project planning, tracking and oversight.
  • Knowledge of the substantive programs of the Division and Branches as they relate to administrative functions and processes.
  • Ability to monitor and evaluate schedule and financial activities
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments as required.
  • Knowledge of correspondence and writing procedures and practices.
  • Ability to communicate (transmit and receive) tactfully to ensure accomplishment of functions.

Required Clearance:

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.  A minimum of an Interim Secret clearance will be required prior to first day of employment.
