DESCRIPTION:
SAIC is seeking an experienced GEOINT
Sciences Engineer (GSE) for a position located in Chantilly, VA. The
successful candidate will perform technical studies
and analyses, document results of simulations and model campaign reviews, implement
novel technical capabilities related to GEOINT, and ISR ground systems and
architectures. The GSE will develop staff packages, conduct analysis, and
provides advice and recommendations on programmatic improvements to technical
capability and tradecraft development. The GSE shall also support briefings and
training with GEOINT analysts and senior leaders.
Qualifications
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience. Experience may be considered in lieu of education
Qualifications:
- 4+ years in support of Intelligence Community's (IC) GEOINT Ground systems
Experience in GEOINT collection management and GEOINT information management services (GIMS)
Demonstrated knowledge in Network Architectures
Must have experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
NGA or NRO Space experience
Knowledge of multi-INT sources and capabilities
Knowledge of cloud-based architecture
Knowledge of GEOINT remote sensing systems and overall space and ground architecture including mission control and/or mission processing functions
Experience as an imagery or geospatial analyst
