Description
SAIC is seeking a cyber security and networking specialist to support a dynamic team in applying their knowledge of cyber security and networking to a range of operational missions and challenges using specialized tools and analysis techniques. This would include security monitoring of servers and content distribution providers, scheduling outages for security enhancements, integrating new technologies and procedures into the current infrastructure, and providing statistics and reports to senior managers on site managers on site usage. Additional responsibilities include assisting with technical analysis of website sessions to characterize visitors and usage.
Qualifications
- Active/Current TS/SCI & Poly
- Advanced troubleshooting skills or the ability to analyze and break down a problem to find solutions
- Demonstrated experience scripting with Python
- Working knowledge of networking technologies to include understanding of network communications and encryption protocols, security, and network interfaces and controls
- Familiarity with Splunk, nginx, Apache, Ansible, Commercial Messaging Applications (i.e. Surespot, Signal, Telegram)
- Working knowledge of Tor and Tor Hidden Services
- Familiarity using Linux, Windows, and MacOS
- Minimum of 9 years of relevant technical experience and a Master's Degree
