SAIC is seeking a Senior Analyst to support the Identity and Access Management (IAM) Program with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The IAM Analyst will formulate and define system scope and objectives based on both user needs and broad understanding of information technology, business processes, and IAM industry requirements. The analyst will apply extensive knowledge of the customer's business and industry to develop requirements specifications. This position is 100% virtual/work-from-home.
Must demonstrate prior experience and capability using the Agile Methodologies, UML, building Use Cases for and applying testability against requirements and specifications.
Must have experience in analyzing business and user needs and translate those into requirements specifications according to VA standards. Must have experience advising on methods to improve business processes and be able to coordinate and participate in feasibility studies and implementations.
Must demonstrate critical thinking skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with individuals or groups.
Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, respond to customer problems and needs, lead/mentor junior team members, document complex topics and processes, and follow established software development life cycle procedures.
The IAM Analyst is an Identity and Access Management (IAM) analyst position whose primary responsibilities will be providing analysis, requirements elicitation, modeling and project management for a wide range of Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) applications which integrate with the following projects across the IAM: Access Services (AcS), VA Authentication Federation Infrastructure (VAAFI), Veterans ID Card (VHIC), AccessVA, Master Veteran Index (MVI), IAM Provisioning
Responsibilities could include:
Acting as a Project Manager for IAM integrations and applications
Providing analysis support for the IAM Governance Intake Process
Leading IAM service and integration analysis efforts and producing analysis artifacts compliant with the Veteran Focus Integration Process (VIP) processes
Facilitating requirements elicitation sessions with stakeholders
Creating business and system models to depict client requirements
Coordinate with development team to ensure requirements are well understood.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Experienced in business or system analysis, preferably including enterprise services.
Experienced with the VIP requirements for analysis and other software development mandated artifacts and processes
Skilled in requirements elicitation, use case development, modeling, and requirements decomposition
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, contractors, stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is required along with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust with the VA
