Description

SAIC is seeking a Sr. Sharepoint Knowledge Manager to support the Army National Guard and the broader military intelligence community on the Military Intelligence Services Support (MISS) Program.  Must have an active DOD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI

 

Note: This role offers temporary work from home/ remote/ virtual work at home due to COVID-19.  Eventually the work will go back on site in Rosslyn, VA.

 

Job Duties:

  • Develop and maintain Knowledge Management continuity plan and organizational continuity management plan
  • Design, implements and integrate tools and technologies to promote knowledge management and collaboration within the organization
  • Create and maintain documentation configuration management policies and procedures
  • Design and develop KM Strategic Plan with integrated architecture, assigned roles and responsibilities, success metrics and change management strategy,
  • Implement and maintain lessons learned capability
  • Initiate, draft, and review all formal knowledge management requirements and documents
  • Conduct Knowledge Management continuous process improvement activities
  • Ensure Program Management processes and details are fully documented and organized in a way that is accessible to all employees
  • Research and document knowledge management for the PMO, including business processes, usage metrics, and improvement opportunities
  • Conduct Knowledge Management assessments of organizational infrastructure: Perform knowledge audits, identifying knowledge gaps and shortfalls: Develop courses of action that address organizational gaps and shortfalls
  • Collaborate with employees across the organization to continually improve the KM system and measure impact using clearly defined success metrics
  • Produce knowledge map reports and management dashboards
  • Use centralized and peripheral databases, content management, records management systems and shapes workflow and processes
  • Compile reports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities including, but not limited to, search, discovery, storage and retrieval of data and formal production and taskings
  • Maintain records of dissemination; produce metrics, graphics, and briefings to support portfolio management and mission management functions
  • Coordinate with requirements owners, personnel in the Program Management Office, and supporting contractors/subcontractors
  • Assist in collection, management, and presentation of data related to existing and future knowledge management requirements
  • Participate in technical meetings to gain knowledge management and Information Technology insights for the organization
  • Facilitate internal/external knowledge sharing and collaboration via comprehensive communications strategy and implementation plan
  • Assist communications efforts developing branding, content, and platforms.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • HS/GED and 20 years of experience OR Bachelors and 14 years of experience; OR Masters and 12 years of experience; OR PhD or JD and 9 years of experience
  • Active DOD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI
  • 5 years of managing distributed, digital information repositories
  • 2 years developing and managing Sharepoint data storage (SQL, Oracle, etc.) for medium to large scale organization in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • 2 years developing and managing organizational files in a in a cloud environment, preferably Department of Defense file structure
  • Working knowledge of API data source interfaces and XML data sources
