SAIC is seeking an exceptional individual to support the acquisition and development of the Air Force's Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) weapon system located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. This is a massive development effort with many opportunities. We are seeking a Systems Engineer with experience in Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) with a willingness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment. This position requires the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision, exercising initiative and independent judgment in the performance of assigned tasks.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing expert technical advice and support to program leadership on Reliability Centered Maintenance.
- Conducting RAM analyses.
- Providing support to programmatic and technical briefings, reports and other related documentation. This team member will regularly integrate, coordinate and engage with the customer and cross-functional teammates.
- Performs technical planning, system integration, verification/validation, evaluates alternatives including cost, risk, supportability and analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product across the entire lifecycle, from concept through disposal.
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions.
- Translates customer requirements into hardware/software specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.
- Experience with reliability, availability and maintainability on a large system
- Active SECRET Clearance
- Experience with requirements development, analysis, and management (preferred)
- Experience supporting DoD programs, including DoD 5000.01 acquisition (preferred)
