Job Description


JOB DESCRIPTION: Supports engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of electronic and computer based systems. Applications may include electronic circuits, and fiscal payment systems. Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform data entry duties.  Collects, maintains, organizes, compiles, and manipulates technical data.  Prepares engineering documentation, reports, drawings (sketches/flow charts/diagrams/schematics, etc.).  Performs mathematical calculations per engineering specifications. Undertakes analyses of data where guidelines are provided. SCOPE: N/A PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: N/A  FREEDOM TO ACT: Close supervision involving detailed instructions and constant checking on work performance. LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT: N/A KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITY: Moderate knowledge of the job.  Moderate understanding of general job aspects and some understanding of the detailed aspects of the job. Applies job skills and company policies to complete a wide range of tasks. Supervision Received: Close supervision involving detailed instructions and constant checking on work performance. IMPACT: Errors can be easily and quickly detected within the immediate work unit and would only result in minor disruption or expense to correct. LIASON: Contacts are primarily within immediate work unit.  Contacts involve obtaining or providing information requiring little explanation or interpretation.



  •  AA Degree in related discipline; or High School and up to two (2) years of related experience with certificate of completion for NAVSEA CDMD-OA course and/or NDE enclave. 


  • Knowledge of US Navy's MILSTRIP and/or 3M systems
