SAIC is seeking an experienced security professional to join a team of qualified and diverse individuals at our Chantilly VA location. The candidate shall respond quickly and effectively to security needs and concerns. The successful candidate will provide program security support to the Intelligence Community (IC). 
 
The job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
 
- Manage and administer all security aspects for multiple programs, including implementing physical, program, communication and information security requirements to ensure compliance with NISPOM, DCIDs, ICDs, federal security regulations and information security requirements
- Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified materials, documents, and equipment 
- Develop, write and review security documentation and provide guidance and assistance for all security levels including collateral and SCI information
- Investigate and manage security incidents and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken
- Conduct SCI Indoctrination briefings and educational training for new and current employees and coordinate security debriefings as necessary (including oral presentations);
- Conduct candidate pre-screen interviews and serve as an integral participant in the recruiting process
- Overall responsible for the security management and oversight of SCIFs and may be required to respond to after-hour alarms
- Support other facility security items as necessary
- Provide proposal support, as needed to include writing Security Volumes
- Be an active member of the security team
- Assist with preparing clearance request packages
 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 
- Candidate must have an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph in order to be considered for this position
- Candidate must have a minimum of 6 years' experience, with Bachelor's degree in security, business or etc.. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Candidate should have excellent communication, judgment and decision making skills 
- Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and identify solutions
- Working knowledge of the NISPOM, DCIDS, ICDs, and Executive Orders, to ensure security compliance
- Previous security experience managing a classified program in support of the Intelligence Community
- Knowledge of the various security disciplines such as physical security, personnel security, information system security and industrial security to determine, apply, and monitor appropriate security requirements for assigned programs
 - Experience with authoring Security Volumes in support of RFI's/ RFP's
- Previous experience being the focal security POC on security matters in support of security program
- Familiarity with the requirements for SCIF modifications or new SCIF buildouts
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- Availability to respond to security alarms after hours
- Other CPSO duties as assigned.
