SAIC is seeking an individual with a background in engineering or science with a desire to work in the acquisition of technologies to identify and interdict weapons of mass destruction. The position will support the Department of Homeland Security’s Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Office (CWMD) in Washington D.C . The candidate will provide technical and engineering support throughout the systems engineering life cycle- from conceptualization through deployment.
The position’s primary responsibility is to support one or more acquisition program management offices by leading and providing systems engineering support along with a team of scientists and engineers of various skillsets and experience. The position will also spend time working with other contractors, national laboratories, and commercial equipment vendors working with the Government.

· Able to multi-task, covering multiple small projects when required
