We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Senior Managed Services Lead to begin an exciting and challenging career with SAIC.

Performs day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for complex operating systems, workstations and servers. Coordinates, directs and performs complex software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages. Schedules installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures. Continually monitors and tunes multiple systems to achieve optimum performance levels. Ensures workstation/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions of varying complexities. Ensures data/media recoverability by developing and implementing a schedule of system backups and database archive operations. Plans and implements the modernization of servers. Develops, implements and promotes standard operating procedures and schedules. Conducts hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines. Incumbent develops and implements new standards, policies and procedures. Incumbent in this job works closely with cloud engineers, architects, and application developers to help determine and develop the systems that will be implemented. Accountable for the request for change (RFC) process. Deploys the supported systems/applications API releases, hot fixes and patches, maintains the COTS software (ArcGIS Server, SQL, etc.) updates and patches. These tasks include updates, patches and deploying builds on the infrastructure upon approval of an RFC.
- Bachelors and five (5) years or more of related experience; Masters and three (3) years or more related experience; PhD and 0 years experience.
- Must posses or be able to achieve a Public Trust level of clearance.
- Must understand how to operate and maintain cloud platforms and applications throughout the entire lifecycle
- Must understand the complexities and process rigor associated with Change Management.
- Must have the ability to work with the customer to develop Organizational Change Management (OCM) strategies, training, and implementation.
- Must have the ability to communicate via written, oral, and virtual media.
- AWS Certified Sysops Administrator - Associate desired.
