Location: San Diego, CA

SAIC is looking for a Senior Configuration Manager (CM) experienced in supporting DoD Navy customers within the NAVWAR and PEO C4I enterprise. This position will be responsible for executing Program Office (PMW) CM processes and policies for assigned program(s).

Job tasks include, but not limited to:

Ensure PMW CM policies and processes are implemented and enforced.

Establish and facilitate a Program Local Configuration Control Board (LCCB).

Establish and maintain technical baselines.

Review and manage engineering changes.

Will work closely with Assistant Program Manager (APM) and Program Lead Engineer (LE).

Coordinate and communicate across Program functional areas, with the PMW CM Lead and with ISEA CM team.

Work closely with the SCD developer to support alignment of engineering maturity to the modernization process.

Participate in various Program and PMW meetings, including but not limited to, the PMW CCB, Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETRs), Platform Technical Review Board (PTRB), etc.

CM training, including CMPro.


Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience. 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.

Required Skills: CMPro Experience, Knowledge of Configuration Management elements, NAVWAR/PEO C4I CM experience

Desired Skills and Certifications: PEO C4I Tools: SPIDER, Atlassian Suite, No Magic, Knowledge of Agile and DevSecOps, NAVWAR/PEO C4I organizational structure, Navy Modernization processes and willing to learn other functional area processes.
