SAIC is seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager in Washington DC. This is in support of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) cybersecurity mission to ensure HHS can actively protect the vital health information with which it is entrusted, respond to existing and emerging cybersecurity threats, and continue to enhance the program to ensure HHS has the capability and capacity to respond to new and emerging requirements, technologies and threats.
The Cybersecurity Project Analyst is part of the contract's Project Management Services team providing management, administration, and support to cyber security projects.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage the execution, implementation, and maintenance of cybersecurity projects of varying scope and size.
Ensure managed projects are completed successfully within negotiated parameters to include technical implementation and associated documentation objectives.
Develop and maintain project-specific artifacts per EPLC tailoring plans such as project management plans, charters, scope documents, etc. using standardized EPLC designated templates.
Review engineering and development project documentation and approaches and assist the Government in assuring project outcomes comply with statutory, federal, and Agency guidance and policies.
Communicate current project status to stakeholders in a variety of forums.
Coordinate with personnel internal and external to the program at multiple levels to achieve project objectives.
Prepare and update project-related documentation as required.
Participate in contract and customer strategic planning activities, when required.
Required Experience: 5 or more years of relevant project management and cybersecurity experience.
Certification Requirement: PMP preferred. Industry-standard cybersecurity certification, e.g. Security+, CISSP, CISM, HCISPP, CAP desired.
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
