SAIC is seeking an Endpoint Administrator in Atlanta, GA. This is in support of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) cybersecurity mission to ensure HHS can actively protect the vital health information with which it is entrusted, respond to existing and emerging cybersecurity threats, and continue to enhance the program to ensure HHS has the capability and capacity to respond to new and emerging requirements, technologies and threats. 


The Endpoint Administrator's responsibilities will include:


  • Install and maintain client computer systems and peripheral devices.
  • Perform user account administration.
  • Perform client computer imaging, setup, software installation, and patch management.
  • Secure system configuration to appropriate government computer security standard (i.e. Organization SOP, NIST and/or DISA STIG).
  • Monitor and mitigate client computer vulnerabilities.
  • Maintain the inventory of all automated assets using the Sunflower inventory system.
  • Ensure the automated asset inventory is current to within 5 working days of inventory changes (procurements and turn-ins).
  • Maintain CSO equipment and logistics storage spaces. Stage for turn-in and disposal of equipment.
  • Document surplus equipment and remove from inventory using government processes.
  • Provide quarterly evaluation of current system warranties and ensure warranties are documented when they expire.
  • Support and facilitate shipping activity.


Qualifications

Required Experience: 4 or more years of relevant endpoint administration experience.


Certification Requirement: Industry standard certification, e.g. CompTIA Security+. 


Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience. 


Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
